.JOBS is a restricted domain, meaning that applicants must be verified by the registry, Employ Media, in order to qualify for the domain name. The ability to secure a company name in .JOBS is restricted to those who: (i) are tasked with hiring (or other HR duties) on behalf of their employer; (ii) are authorized to purchase their companyname.jobs on behalf of their employer; and (iii) agree to abide by both the .JOBS Use Policies and the SHRM Code of Professional Ethics.
Purchasers of .JOBS domain names will, upon passing verification, see their domain names live on the Internet on or about September 1, 2005.
.JOBS domain names cost just $119.95 per year at GoDaddy.com, with a one-time application fee of $39.95. Prices are slightly less at membership-based Blue Razor Domains ($114.95 & $34.95). Wild West Domains resellers who choose to offer .JOBS domain extensions set their own pricing.
