Yes, "technology" refers to 技術 or 技术 in dictionary.
however, now we prefer to refer it to 科技(Scientific technology, not normal or common technology) in our common usage. And 技術 or 技术 we prefer to use them as sort of skill term, like fixing cars, making woodwork, even horse riding....etc. But if you are good at computer science, aero science, bio science, any high tech ones, we say that is "technology".

Another question, does 收支 mean just "revenue" in chinese simplified because I was told it means revenue and expenditure,
收 meaning revenue and 支 meaning expenditure.

收支 is a accounting term in chinese, and revenue should be " 收益 " (income收入 + profit利益)
